Micil was named in honour of the owners great-great-great grandfathers Micil Mac Chearra. For over 170 years, this family has preserved the craft of distilling extraordinary spirits made using family recipes, craft knowledge and techniques.
Meet Pádraic Ó’ Griallais the founder and director of Micil, Galway’s first distillery to open its door in over 100 years. He champions both Irish products and purity native Irish language.
