Please specify dietary requirements and allergens upon booking your tour and we will do our best to accommodate. While we make every effort to inform venues of all allergies, and all our venue owners and chefs go to great lengths to ensure that customers feel welcome and
safe when dining at their establishments, they cannot guarantee that cross contamination does not occur despite their best efforts. Unfortunately, menus cannot be altered upon request on day.
* Please note: the itinerary and menu may be subject to change, based on the locations’ availability and other circumstances.
This is not a problem! Just inform our guide before the tour starts. We can offer a non-alcoholic beverage.
Children are more than welcome; we can give them soft drinks, water or fruit juice and we encourage them to try all tastings.
The food consumed on tour would replace a meal (lunch/dinner), you will get to try some delicious foods while learning about the history and culture of the city. It is not recommended to have a big meal before this tour.
Day tours meet outside Mc Cambridges 38-39 Shop St, Galway, H91 T2N7.
Evening tours meet outside Jurys Inn/Leonardo. (opp Spanish Arch) Leonardo, Quay St, Galway, H91 E8D7.
Our tours do not end at the meeting point, but our guides will happily point you in the direction of your next destination.
We recommend you wear comfortable shoes. There will be around 35 mins of walking, but it is not too difficult and is broken up between food stops. The guide walks at the pace of the tour members, you will never be rushed.
We try our best to offer mobility friendly options and most of our tours should be negotiated with ease. However please advise us in advance of any mobility issues, as that will enable us to update our venues and plan the most suitable routes.
Our tours are created for groups of 12 people or less for a more intimate experience. But do not hesitate to contact us if you have a group larger than 12 people as we will be more than happy to try and assist you to the best of our abilities or if you wish to you can book a smaller private tour.
Our ethos is showcasing local, independent and owner run businesses that source their produce from Irish artisan food producers.
Tours will be running in all weather conditions except hurricanes. We always recommend checking the local weather ahead of your tour and dressing accordingly, as certain stops can take place outside the venues and there is a short walk between stops.
Yes, gift vouchers are available to purchase on our website. We have an option for both e-vouchers and (physical) gift cards. Please allow 3-5 workings days for gift cards to arrive by local post.
Many of our stops are at smaller venues, so we will be eating both inside and outside, sometimes walking with our food, as our name suggests!
Bathrooms will be available on the tour but may not be at each venue. We will be able to let you know on the tour.
Please note that your tour guide cannot wait for guests arriving late. Please make the necessary arrangements to arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the tour. We are on a tight schedule with all the venues we visit.
