Highly recommended tour of Galway city I recently attended Galway Food Tour and had an amazing time with Sheena! The food and drinks were amazing, it was wonderful to try so many local and Irish specialties. I was particularly impressed by the whiskey, paired with nice cheeses and charcuterie. I also learned about Galway, its history and some famous people from the city. I would definitely recommend this tour, this is a unique experience and a great way to discover the amazing city of Galway.

Delicious Tour! This is a great tour if you are looking to spend a good while of your stay in Galway learning about it’s culinary history, the hot spots for a bite or a meal, and the origins of the best treats and drinks in Ireland. The food was AMAZING and the tour guide was very friendly, as they say in Ireland, “great craic!”

Wonderful experience ! We had a fabulous time doing the Galway Food Tour and glad we were able to catch the last one for the season! Sheena was knowledgeable, warm, friendly and had the entire tour perfected. We enjoyed every step of it and every food and beverage we sampled! Great way to learn about the current and burgeoning food scene in Galway. Sheena also gives shopping tips as a bonus which we found so helpful given our limited time. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an enjoyable and unique activity while in Galway!

Amazing food and tour guides! I booked this as a private tour for 13 friends including my mother. We split into two groups, Sheena and Clare were our guides. Sheena was a fantastic communicator as I was organizing this trip from the US. She was always responsive and never bothered to answer any of my thousand questions! We had three vegetarians in this group and someone with a shellfish allergy and Sheena accommodated everyone without issue. I am incredibly grateful to her. Everyone loved the food stops and learning the history behind where we were and what we were eating. It was a delicious education in local Irish food. This tour is worth every cent!! We’re all still talking about the food almost two weeks later and trying to see what we can have shipped to the US! Thank you Sheena!!

Great way to begin your exploration of Galway We had a blast walking around town with Sheena. Visited about 5 places and had lots of food and drink samples. You will not the tour leave hungry. Sheena is very knowledgeable about the food scene in Galway.

Yummy Tastings! Overall great experience and fun tastings. I gave it a 4/5 only because I wish there had been some more history of Galway in general and how it shaped the food scene.

Excellent Food and Great Conversation Sheena is a true gem!! She was very sweet and kind and incredibly informative about the food scene in Galway, and Galway's history. Each food stop was better than the last. There was a good variety and volume of food and we were comfortably full at the end. Sheena took us to some hidden gems frequented mostly by locals, as well as some more popular locations on the main drag. We did a mini whiskey tasting with some excellent cheeses and charcuterie, had some really yummy coffee and an incredible pastry. We had seafood chowder with brown bread, fresh sushi, mussels, pulled pork and oysters. We topped it all off with some very good chocolate treats. Everything we had was super fresh and locally sourced. Even though it was a food tour, Sheena was very interested in us as individuals and we had a lovely time chatting with her throughout the tour. I would definitely recommend doing this tour if you plan to visit Galway. Not only do you get some fantastic food, it's a great way to get the lay of the land for further exploration on your own. If you ask, like we did, Sheena will also direct you to some great restaurants popular with the locals, and help you avoid tourist traps and bad food. Thank you, Sheena, for a fantastic time!

Highlight of our trip! Sheena is an absolute shining star. We absolutely adored Galway, and it is in large part because she pointed out the best things to do, see, and eat. Sheena is the best tour guide I've ever had, and I firmly believe no trip to Galway is complete without going on the Galway Food Tour. 10/10!!!!

Great Tour But Be Hungry!! Really enjoyed our tour with Sheena. Sweet and savoury treats with coffee, beer and whiskey tasting. Sheena is very knowledgeable about all foodie aspects and I particularly enjoyed learning about the art of chocolate making. She was full of good recommendations for eating in Galway and Clare. I recommend this tour but, a word to the wise, be hungry going on this tour. The food is gorgeous!!!
